A friend of mine once asked me, "what's so great about prom?".. Well, let's just say I've seen and enjoyed better events but the one thing that makes it hard not to attend prom is bcos of the pressure nicely put to attention, thx to a job well done by the SPARC publicity bureau! hehe. In my 4 haste years here in MMU, this should be the third time I'm attending proms. BUT of course the best goes way back to my ALPHA years when all I ever spend for the prom is my neklace and everything else is either pinjam or DIY made. Back then I worry on nothing except how to dance in heels.
That was before... flowers blooms and the leaves change its color, now I'm all a grown up woman. Dang! Which surprisingly leads me to a more intense moment when it comes to choosing the right look. Extra concsiousness...ntah pasal ape.Yes, this year's prom I spend god-knows-how-much ringgit and time just so I could outstand the rest in the ballroom! Heh.Seriously, then why do u think girls would go that far (er...spend $600++ for a dress that is to be worn once??) and do so much (like waste 4hours in mall finding a dress than doing assignments) if it wasn't because of that particular reason???
Anywho.. the prom need not be bad for the health! Prom is suppose to be the time to let your beauty prosper..the time for you to reveal your other halves...and of course...the time to commemorate friendship. when you don't know how else to do it  dah... lu sumer layan ah nengok gamba² khurafat nih. heheh. there's more pixies below btw, under the OB outing section..

It was the nite before this gig that my buddy Bob called to tell me bout the relocation of venue. Started off at KM Plaza and we later end up pogoing in Seremban Jaya.. As easy as it sounds, it took at least 2 hours delay from the actual time for the gig to begin. Thank god to the notice made earlier in many pieces of A4 papers pasted all around KM Plaza, the time could have been much later delayed if that notice was not done..
In that notice, I cordially informed the changes and actually invited these people (the bands,whoever interested going) to gather around in Bob's shop before I pick em' up, hitchin' a ride to Seremban Jaya. Humid day & massive traffic does not help fasten the pace. But I managed to make my way around with the band (anti-protokol) and the punk kids and I'm glad to say that making friends with them is so much easier than getting my undies worn. We clicked at hello!
After 5 trips to and fro via both highways and byways, Bob n I finally settled ourselves down to Seremban Jaya, trying to enjoy the gig. And we did enjoyed it.Despite a rush in the middle, many bravos to the committee for crossing the finishing line, putting an end to this show.
"gig ni kene rush. baru 2 band yang sempat main. polis suruh stop pasal org belakang komplain. lalu organizer ajak pindah ke studio bersebelahan utk buat jamm session saja. oleh kerana keadaan tak mengizinkan aku berada lama, aku pun pulang sekitar pukul 7 di mana jamm session belum di mulakan."

This place that we went has a name..Bkt Beruang(setau aku la kan..)Tempat yg kitorg lepak nih is almost like the secret spot, but im guessing that's shot down to shit cos agak ramai yg dah tau pasal secret spot nih...
There's only two reasons (to me at least) to come to this place.First.....if my self esteem went below par that day and i feel like I need to shed off few pounds (few??).Second...cos this is probably "the" only spot of pace.Solemn pace.Point of nothingness - which could only mean one thing - kejiwangan melanda!
and these pics reflects the second reason...mostly .Lately life has been flashing (towards an infinite) and I just need a pit stop to catch my breath...and start remembering moments again.

Venue: Pusat Kanak² Terencat, Klebang Kecil, Melaka
Time: 10am - 3pm (approx)
Activities:-
A lot, really. From mingling around till feeding these special beings. Was a lil bit nervous when I stepped into this place, mainly bcos this is just so new. New for me to see it hands on. But then the feelings transformed in a haste and all it took was just a smile from them & the rest just follows You won't believe at how smart these kids are. Although most of them suffers from C.P syndrome (cerebral palsy - something to do with lack of oxygen channeled to the brain) There's this girl named Lily and I didn't even think she should be there. To me she should record an album cos she sings bloody well 
Some ppl might find this place a somewhat saddening and an uncomfortable place to be..but honest to god this is the last place on earth for us to be scared of. The connection was vivid and when I felt that I know that's not just pity talking...now that's love my friend, in its many subjective forms. The workers there for eg, worked to and fro 24 hours straight taking care of these kids without a single complaint.. gotta respect them for that.And the parents of these kids? They don't even bother visiting.Enuff said.
I really should let u guys see it for yourself. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Amazing how it all works. God of small things I called it...
